Cassetteboy

Homoerotic it may be, but Cassetteboy is just the kind of tragically marginalised knobsessed cut n’ paste genius I would love to lick bone dry of a morning. And there are two of them, so that’s a touch of Downhill Skiing before Breakfast.

They’re Mike & Steve, two blokes from Brighton who started off in 2000 with their own touching tribute to The Princess of Hearts, “Di and Dodi do Die.” Their third album, last year’s ‘Carry On Breathing’,  is still available to buy via their blog, although sadly the same can’t be said of their classic collaboration with DJ Rubbish, “Inside a Whale’s Cock Vol.1″

That masterpiece has vanished into the ether, but their YouTube channel still contains sackloads of  genitalian gags and enough celebrity sexual interfacing to burn a hole in your broadband, including this fruity cut-up job of Stephen Fry describing the sweaty-palmed glory of sweet Hermione orally gratifying The Boy Who Lived.

Here, too, is their slighting of Top Gear supremo Jeremy Clarkson’s penis.

Perusing their channel reveals a great deal more of the same, but every snippet must’ve taken weeks & months of laborious editing - a creative grind that we’re all too familiar with here at The Roomyverse - and they’ve been doing it for mostly pennies uptil now.  Here’s another cock-crazy clip that was actually commissioned by The Times Online:

But here’s the hit of the month, which has been sitting on our homepage for over a fortnight and been watched by over 800, 000 folk to date. It’s their butchering of Sir Alan ‘Enterprise Tsar’ Sugar.

For editors, humourists, and humourous editors everywhere, ladies & gentleman the inaugural Roomyverse Award for Funny Cutting goes to Cassetteboy. Now, where are my Skiboots?
